Named for Capt. William Cox who discovered Sea Lion Caves, this local landmark is now a sanctuary for nesting seabirds including Brandt's Cormorants, Tufted Puffins, Black Oystercatchers and Western Gulls.  Bald Eagles living nearby sometimes drop in for lunch.
